One Hurt In Bristol Borough Fire

A fire on Bath Street in Bristol Borough tore through a home early Monday afternoon.

According to Fire Chief Herb Slack, crews were dispatched at 1:07 p.m. to the 600 block of Bath Street, and the fire was under control and extinguished by 2 p.m.

According to Slack, there was a Comcast employee working at the property when the fire began. The worker was hurt and taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The residence that was attached to the home suffered minor smoke damage, according to Slack.

Aside from the Comcast worker, no one was home at the time of the fire.

Slack said the investigation is ongoing.
