A narcotics investigation spanning several months has led to the arrest of a Bristol man for charges having to do with drug distribution.
Derron Thompson, 25, was arrested after a series of tracked transactions revealed more than 72 bags of suspected heroin had been sold over the two month period in Lower Bucks County.

According to police paperwork by Falls Township police Officer Jarrod Eisenhauer, Thompson sold the drugs to a confidential informant using cell phones to set up the deals. Police monitored five deals, culminating in a January 10 drug sale.
The purchased suspected drugs were turned over to officers, who field tested the drugs and concluded that they were likely heroin,ย police said.
Thompson is being charged with five counts of each of the following charges: felony delivery of drugs, felony criminal use of a communications facility, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Thompson’s bail was set at 10 percent of $200,000.
