A homeless man was arrested Friday for his involvement in an armed robbery from 2014.
Nicholas Ryan Murray, 25, was arrested following a lengthy investigation by Falls Township Police Department detectives.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Detective Matthew Tomcho, Murray was the prime suspect in arranging a $42 food order from a pizza shop on Mill Creek Parkway that was delivered to an empty lot at the Midway Village Trailer Park on Bristol Pike in the Morrisville section of Falls. When the delivery driver dropped off the order, Murray and another unidentified man allegedly ambushed her and took $200 and the food that was ordered.
A gun was displayed in the robbery, police said.
Court documents indicate that the robbery took place on March 21, 2014. Murray had used a phone, which has since deactivated, to place the call to the pizza shop to order. Between a search warrant being served on Murray’s property and the robbery, the battery was reportedly removed from phone in an attempt to conceal the call history. The probable cause affidavit states that the last call on the deactivated phone was placed to the pizza shop on March 21, 2014.

During a grand jury investigation, a resident of the trailer park testified that Murray had told him he had stolen the black revolver from a neighbor’s trailer in a burglary. The gun was use in the robbery, police paperwork states.
According to grand jury testimony, Murray confided to other people he robbed the delivery woman and stole a handgun in a burglary.

Murray is being charged with 10 felonies, including robbery, conspiracy and theft by unlawful taking of property. He is also being charged with five misdemeanors including receiving stolen property, simple assault and possession of a weapon.
Murray was sent to Bucks County prison unable to post bail in relation to a Bensalem burglary case.
