Man Taken For Evaluation Following Levittown Incident

Middletown police swarmed a Levittown section following an incident Friday evening.

Chief of Police Joseph Bartorilla said a man was taken from a home on Snowball Drive for a mental health evaluation following a tense situation that lasted a short period of time.

The chief said the man had not barricaded himself in the home and there were no injuries. A rumor that the man’s dog may have been hurt was not true, he added.

Neighbors reported a large police presence at the scene around 7:10 p.m.

No charges are expected to be filed.
