Original Story:

Customers were cleared from the Walmart and a portion of the surrounding Levittown Town Center shopping plaza Wednesday afternoon.

LevittownNow.com readers said they were cleared from the Walmart and away from the parking lot as Tullytown police and fire trucks arrived to the scene around 3 p.m.

Several bystanders said they were told by first responders there was a possible gas leak but officials have not confirmed the information as of 3:30 p.m. However, the county dispatched the Edgely, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 1 and Tullytown fire companies for a smell of fumes near the Walmart garden department at 3p.m.

The same Walmart was cleared and closed for several hours earlier this month when a pipe burst.
