Santa took time from the North Pole this past week to take free pictures with children and pets.
The event was held last year at Inspire Federal Credit Union’s Bristol Township branch last year but was at the newer Langhorne branch along Lincoln Highway in Middletown this year.

“The kids are having a great time meeting and getting photos with Santa, and that’s what matters,” said Jim Merrill, the president and CEO of Inspire.
There is more to the events like the Santa meetings Inspire hosts. Partnering with Operation Helping Hand of the United Way of Bucks County and Mary’s Cupboard Food Pantry, Inspire raised money and collected food for the pantry.
This year, Inspire also collected $500 for the pantry, which will be used to buy perishable goods for the holiday season. So far this year, Inspire has participated or hosted nearly 50 events and invested nearly 500 hours in community service and charity.

The partnership with Mary’s Cupboard started last year when Inspire noticed an immediate need by the pantry for the holidays. Since then, the partnership has only grown.
“We hope to do more things throughout 2017, and not just during the holiday season,” said Brian Phillips, AVP of relationship development for Inspire.
