The 11th annual Olde Langhorne Harvest Day succeeded in bringing people together for a pleasant morning andย afternoon Saturday.

Put on by the Langhorne Borough Business Association, the goals of the harvest day are to bring exposure to Langhorne and help businesses in the short and long term.

“That’s what the business association tries to do: help businesses and bring exposure,” said Rich Beaumont, a business owner in Langhorne and the president of the business association.

The day brought out a number of organizations and vendors, such as the Rotary Club of Langhorne. It also acts as a perfect opportunity for the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company to conduct its fire prevention and safety day.

The Rotary Club was selling raffles for baskets to raiseย money to purchase Neshaminy School District third graders dictionaries.

Fallsington Hot Sauce and Honey was at the harvest day as well. Attending nearly every community day in the fall is something the local company does as a way to get out in the community.

“We probably make just enough to cover the hot sauce, but we really do it because we enjoy doing it,” said Joe Tarr, one of the founding partners of the venture.

Like the other community days in the area, vendors come out to sell wares and get closer with the community.

The streets of Langhorne were packed with area residents throughout the day for the annual event.
