Investigators Probe Mobile Home Fire

A fire at a mobile home in Falls Township is under investigation.

The fire happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening in a mobile home that was listed for sale at 5051 Garner Drive in the Pennwood Crossing community.

Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said no one was home at the time of the blaze that heavily damaged the mobile home.

The fire appears to have started inside the mobile home and was kept mainly under control by neighbors who used a fire extinguisher and garden hose on the flames, Dippolito  said.

The mobile home was listed for sale in late July and priced at $54,900.
