Lottery Ticket Worth $4 Million Sold In Falls Twp.


taxesPennsylvania Lottery officials confirmed Friday that the largest Match 6 Lotto jackpot attached to a single ticket in over two years was sold in Falls Township this week.

The ticket that is worth $4 million – featuring winning numbers 02-07-22-24-31-48 – was sold at the Wawa at 1244 Bristol Pike in Falls’ Morrisville section in advance of Thursday night’s drawing.

The ticket must be claimed and validated before the winner can be identified, officials said.

It has been three months since the Match 6 game last hit its jackpot.

The $4 million prize is the seventh largest in the game’s history, officials said.

The Wawa will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The person who holds the winning ticket, according to state lottery officials, is to sign the back of the ticket and call the Pennsylvania Lottery at 717-702-8146 before filing a claim.

In October 2013, the Match 6 game sold its largest-ever prize, a ticket worth $7.3 million. The ticket was sold in Cambria County.
