Dragon opened the nutrition and supplement store at 636 Lincoln Highway in 2014 with a goal of helping customers and not just selling them a product.

“I want people to be repeat customers and I want employees to be honest. We’re not just here to sell,” he said. “We’re honest about the products and finding what works best for each person.”

One thing Dragon is proud to say separates him from chain nutrition and supplement stores is his fair prices and ability to educate of the customer.

“From powerlifters to bodybuilders all the way to the person looking for a certain vitamin, we can help,” Dragon explained, adding that many of his customers are everyday people looking to slim down and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Dragon said there are some products he won’t carry because they’re not up to par with the high standards local customers deserve.

After opening his store in 2014, Dragon, also a certified personal trainer, began to tailor his stock of nutrition and supplements based off what his customers requested. He’s always happy to place a special order for a customer who is looking for something he doesn’t have in stock.

One of the biggest things Dragon works with customers on is misinformation.

“There’s a lot of misinformation on the internet and Facebook. We take them and try to direct the customer the right way,” he said.

Dragon got into fitness from being the small guy. At 5-foot-6 and being a police officer, he had to use his strength as an advantage. Through hard work and knowledge of the correct nutrition and diet, Dragon honed his fitness and learned to love the hobby which he later turned into a career.
