As noted in an affidavit of probable cause, Bristol Township police observed Carroll near the Silver Lake Plaza Apartments in Bristol around 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

When police attempted to take Carroll into custody, he fought law enforcement, reportedly flailing his arms and running on foot through the parking lot of the apartment complex before dropping what police say was a semi-automatic pistol and continuing to take off through the back yards of Shumacher Drive.

Court documents show that Carroll then stopped a black pickup truck that was traveling westbound on Schumacher Drive and entered the front passenger seat. Police attempted a traffic stop of the vehicle at the intersection of Schumacher Drive and Marie Lowe Drive but Carroll reportedly exited the vehicle and attempted to continue fleeing before he was apprehended by police.

According to police records, a search of Carroll revealed three clear plastic ziplock style bags that contained suspected marijuana, a plastic cellophane cigarette pack wrapper that contained suspected marijuana, and a clear plastic ziplock style bad that contained threeย pills suspected to be oxycodone. A check of the firearm revealed that the pistol was a Taurus, Millennium, G2, 9mm with an obliterated serial number on the slide. A verification of the serial number on the frame revealed it was stolen out of Bensalem Township. Police said the pistol was observed to have a round in the chamber and eight more rounds in the magazine.

In addition to being a fugitive, Carroll has prior felony convictions for possession with intent to deliver narcotics and burglary.
