Falls Twp. Native Promoted To State Police Captain

Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Tyree C. Blocker has promoted Anthony J. Sivo, a native of Falls Township, to captain and assigned as his executive officer.ย  Captain Sivo most recently served as the station commander at Troop K in Media, Delaware County.

Captain Sivo enlisted in the state police in 1993.ย  Upon graduation from the academy, he was assigned to Troop K, Media.ย  As he progressed through the ranks, Captain Sivo served in Troops K and M and the Bureau of Patrol.ย  He served as a corporal in Troop K, sergeant in Troops M and K, and as a lieutenant in the Bureau of Patrol.ย  During his career, he served as a trooper, corporal, sergeant and lieutenant in Troop K.

Captain Sivo was promoted to corporal in 1999, sergeant in 2000 and lieutenant in 2007.ย  He holds a masterโ€™s degree in police executive management from Saint Josephโ€™s University and is an FBI National Academy graduate.

Captain Sivo and his wife, Christina, reside in East Goshen Township, Chester County, and have two sons, Joseph and Matthew.
