Saturday should be a day of fall fun in Bristol Township as two annual events come together for the first time.
Usually separate events, the annual community day and fall festival are being wrapped up into a bigger than usual celebration due to the ongoing construction project at the municipal complex, according to Township Manager Bill McCauley.

The festival will also give Bristol Township residents the chance to see the positive changes that the capital improvement project could bring to the municipality, according to officials.
The festivities start at 11 a.m on Saturday, September 24. The activities at the festival will include circus performances, crafts, vendors, pony rides, carnival food, and more. The township’s emergency vehicles will also be available so that kids can get up close and personal with the towering vehicles.
The event is free to attend. The rain date for the event is Sunday, September 25.
