On Sunday morning, the Garden of Reflection will host their annual morning remembrance ceremony at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony will follow the chronological events of the terrorist attack and will include music and reflection.

In the evening, the Garden of Reflection will host its Remembrance in Light ceremony at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature Nick Berger, whose father Jim Berger died in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Jim Berger is said to have evacuated his office floor despite orders not to and was the last one to leave after helping save the lives of all the people on his floor. Due to his heroic actions, Jim Berger was delayed and was not able to make it out of the South Tower. The ceremony will also feature the premier of “You Were There” (A Tribute to the Fallen), which is a song dedicated to first responders and military. Christopher Smith, a Broadway composer and former police officer, wrote the song that will be performed by Bucks County high school students. Wayne Lutz, a Vietnam War veteran and the Founder of Warriors Watch, and September 11 responder Jon Adler, president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Foundation, will also be part of the ceremony.
