Issues with public water were reported Tuesday morning in Falls Township.
The Township of Falls Authority reported that a major water main break caused low pressure and a disruption in service for some customers in the Fallsington section of the township. By 11 a.m., the area of the break has been isolated and only a few customers on Yardley Avenue and a nearby industrial park continued to have water issues.

Repairs to water main break are underway, according to a Township of Falls Authority operator.
On an unrelated note, the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority was flushing water lines in the Levittown section of Falls Tuesday morning. When the lines are flushed, the water can become rust-colored due to deposits moving through the system.
The Township of Falls Authority advises its customers to check their website for updates on the break. Click here to see the website.
