The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Bristol Borough.

The horses are set to visit the historic borough on Labor Day, Monday, September 5. The clydesdales will travelย along the traditional Christmas parade route, starting at Green and Farragut lanes and continuing to Mill Street.

The exact timing of the visit of has not yet been announced by Budweiser.

The horses have strict restrictions in terms of how far they can travel and how long they can be on display. The horses can only travel 1.9 miles, according to Bill Pezza, who announced the horses’ impending visit.

During the trip, the horses and their crew will deliver ceremonial cases of beer to local clients along the route. The deliveries will be made from an antique carriage pulled by eight clydesdales.

Borough Council voted on Monday night to allow the horses on public roads.

Budweiser began using the horses at the end of prohibition and has more than one horse team that travels the country.
