Middletown police recovered a car stolen out of Philadelphia and arrested the man found sitting in it.
According to court papers filed Monday night, officers were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station at Five Points in Levittown for a report of an intoxicated subject. Upon pulling up, a patrolman allegedly found a man slumped over in the front of the red SUV.

The vehicle and the man inside – identified as Jory Dynell Brantley, 24, of Philadelphia – were both run through police databases. The SUV was found to be stolen out of the city, police said.
Brantley was found to have suspected cocaine, heroin and marijuana with him in the vehicle. Hypodermic needles were also found in the vehicle, police said.
Brantley was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. He was sent to county prison on 10 percent of $50,000 bail by District Judge Daniel Baranoski.
