The Middletown and Tullytown police departments will both be taking part in the National Night Out Tuesday.
This year marks the first that Tullytown has taken part in the event and it is the second year Middletown has participated.

The National Night Out event at the Middletown police station at 3 Municipal Way in Langhorne will start at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Several dozen different entertainment, food options, demonstrations, activities for kids and prizes will be present. In addition, police officers will be showing off their station and equipment to those who attend.
In Tullytown, the borough police department will be serving up light refreshments and offering a dunk tank, bike registration and other activities at the park behind the police station on Main Street.
National Night Out is a nationwide program that started 33 years ago and has taken place in over 16,000 communities.
