A New York City man is in trouble with the law in Falls Township after he allegedly fought with police and engaged in bizarre behavior.
Officers said they were dispatched Sunday at 4:47 a.m. to the 200 block of Waltham Road in Fairless Hills and arrived to find four people outside a home with two people arguing and screaming. Police separated both parties and removed 24-year-old Justin Yiu from New York City.

“Yiu staggered between being aggressive with police and being calm,” Officer Stephanie Metterle wrote. She also noted that the 24 year old smelled of alcohol and appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances.
The residents of Waltham Road told police they awoke to the sound that someone was outside beeping a car horn. A resident went outside and asked Yiu if he needed help. In response, Yiu allegedly began freaking out and screaming that he needed to go inside, the resident told police.
Yiu reportedly got out of his car and confronted the resident and pushed him backward.

Police said Yiu would not breathe properly into a portable breathe test they tried to administer and became upset.
Yiu eventually began fighting with officers, hitting one officer in the mouth. Police attempted to control the 24 year old but continued to struggle until he was taken to the ground, according to court papers.
“On the ground, Yiu was screaming about his dogs in his car,” police said. They added that he yelled several times about his dogs in the car but none were found in his BMW.

Officers noted they were eventually able to handcuff Yiu, and he fought all the way to the police car and also once they arrived at an area hospital.
Yiu allegedly would calm down and then freak out again, police said. His behavior led to them assuming he was hallucinating.
Yiu’s girlfriend told police he had been having some issues recently and has not slept for two days.

Yiu was arraigned Sunday morning by on-call District Judge William Benz on charges of aggravated assault, DUI, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment. He was released after posting 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
Police said officers received multiple scrapes, cuts and bruises during the incident.
