According to reporting from several outlets and a Tweet from Villanova University men’s basketball head Coach Jay Wright, Arcidiacono will sign to play with the San Antonio Spurs.

Details on the contract between Arcidiacono, a Middletown resident, and the Spurs were not available as of 11:30 a.m. Friday.

At Villanova’s national championship parade, Wright called Arcidiacono, a senior at the university, the “heart and soul” of university’s basketball team and Philadelphia basketball.

Ryan Arcidiacono, who has five siblings, was a star player for Neshaminy during his time on the court. Despite being sidelined his senior year due to a back injury, he still finished his high school career as the team’s all-time leading scorer.
