The public information counter at the Lower Bucks Government Services Center in Levittown will be temporarily closed due to a staffing issue, Bucks County officials said.
The counter at the facility near the Levittown Library off New Falls Road in Bristol Township will be closed until a new employee is hired to fill the position.

County spokesman Chris Edwards said the sheriff’s office would continue to issue gun permits from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the center. However, job applications, dog licenses and passports will not be available at the government services center until the new employee is hired.
Job applications, dog licenses and passports will continue to be available at the county offices in Doylestown.
