The project includes installation of ADA compliant curb ramps and pedestrian crossings at Vermillion Drive and Amelia Drive. The sidewalk will stretch from Vermillion Drive and Hood Boulevard.
“I see people walking every day, just about,” Board Of Supervisors Chairman Bob Harvie said earlier this year. “Kids walking to school. People riding bikes. We’re trying to make it safe.”
PennDOT plans to work next year to add sidewalks to New Falls Road in Bristol Township and Middletown.
