Police from multiple municipalities swarmed Morrisville Borough Thursday morning for a reported shooting.
According to an official, a resident spotted a suspect possibly breaking into a car around sunrise and went outside to confront the suspect. At that point, the suspect jumped into a car and drove off. The resident chased the suspect to the area of North Pennsylvania and West Bridge streets where a crash occurred. It was then, the homeowner allegedly shot at the suspect and struck them with gunfire.

Fox 29.com reported the suspect was struck once in the arm and captured a few blocks away from the crash scene.
As of 8 a.m., the incident remained under investigation.
