The status of the proposed boat docks at the base of Mill Street in Bristol Borough will be the topic of a meeting later this month.
At Monday evening’s council meeting, officials announced the meeting will be held Wednesday, June 15 at ***. The special meeting will unveil the bids to complete the project and get the docks built.

The project has been in the works since 2013 and has beenย held hostage by bids that have come in over budgetย by $500,000. Borough officials worked to try to lower the costs of the project to roughly $2 million.
When announced, Bristol officials have called the project โan anchor to the futureโ for the historic riverside town. With more businesses, events and eateries opening in the central business district, merchants and officials have said they believe the docks could add a boost to the borough.
