According to Donnie Jones, an representative for Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans and organizer of the event, the Flag Memorial is important because it helps to raise awareness for Flag Day, which is this Tuesday.
“I can’t thank the volunteers enough,” Jones said.
Keeping the memorial going is one of the main reasons that the event continues, organizers said.
