Are you in need of an armored SWAT vehicle? If so, Bristol Township has one with low mileage on the market.
The township’s 1980 Cadillac Gage Ranger SWAT vehicle is for sale on auction site Municibid. A starting bid for the truck with 21,201 miles on it is set at $2,500.

The auction ends on June 10.
The vehicle, which was produced for the U.S. Air Force’s security forces, does not currently run and has been outside for the past five years. According to a description, the 360 Chrysler Engine was flooded along the interior cabin, which has mold growing inside.
“The hull of the Ranger is made of all-welded ‘CADLOY’ high-hardness armour,” officials wrote.

The Cadillac Gage Ranger, known in the military as a Peacekeeper, fits between four and eight people. It features gun ports and a hatch on the top.
The vehicle served with the department during SWAT deployments around the region. The vehicle was retired several years back as county police have moved to more advanced protective vehicles for high-risk situations.

Bristol Township uses Municibid to auction off surplus vehicles and equipment. In Bucks County, Plumstead, Upper Southampton and the district attorney’s office also use the site.
