A father and his 4-year-old son were hurt when a tree branch fell on them Saturday afternoon and Neshaminy State Park.
First responders were dispatched to the 330-acre state park on the Delaware River in Bensalem around 4 p.m. after a tree limb snapped and fell on the two. The tree ended up pinning the man and his young son.

“There was one guy trying to help,” witnessย Juanita DiGiannantonioย told NBC 10. “He took the tree off the guy. The tree was so heavy but he removed it but he told the man to stay still.”
6abc.com reported the two were rushed toย Aria Health’s Torresdale hospital and were listed in stable condition.
The initial reports were that three people were trapped, but it was discovered on the man and his son were trapped.

An official from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources told NBC 10 that trees are inspected after storms and there was no indication the limb would fall.
