
The Memorial Day weekend is filled with events to honor those who served.
Here’s a roundup of Levittown-area Memorial Day weekend events:
Saturday

9 a.m.: The Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade begins at Ford Avenue in Hulmeville, goes to Main Street and runs along Bellevue Avenue into Penndel. The parade ends with a ceremony at the Penndel Memorial Ball Field.
Noon: The Tullytown Memorial Day and 125th Anniversary Parade runs along Main Street and concludes at Borough Hall at 500 Main Street. Click here to read more.
2 p.m.: Hulmeville will hold their annual Memorial Day ceremony at Memorial Park on the corner of Bellevue Avenue and Neshaminy Street. The event will include speeches and live music.

Sunday
1 p.m.: The Levittown Memorial Day Parade will start at Hood Boulevard and march to American Legion Post No. 834 in Historic Fallsington. A short memorial service will be held across the street from the Legion Post.

Monday
9 a.m.: The Jesse Soby American Legion Post No. 148 on Richardson Avenue in Langhorne Borough will be the starting point for the community’s annual Memorial Day ceremony and the following parade, which is celebrating its 97th year.
9 a.m.: A ceremony will begin at the Bristol Borough Veterans Memorial at Farragut Avenue and Pond Street. The remembrance will then travel to other cemeteries in the borough where veterans lay to rest.

11:30 a.m.: The Croydon Memorial Day Parade begins on State Road and heads to the Joseph A. Schumacher VFW Post at 901 Bellevue Avenue in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. The parade runs along State Road and will feature numerous locals groups.
