
A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Falls Township.
Falls police were called to the area of Route 1 and the Route 32 split near the Morrisville border around 2 a.m. After several minutes, they located a car down an embankment and heavily into the woods. Firefighters from Falls Township, Morrisville and Levittown No. 1 fire companies responded to the scene to try to free the female driver of the crashed vehicle.

Firefighters cut down trees and gave police and medics access to the crash scene. At that point, it was determined the woman’s injuries were fatal, Falls Township Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said.
Police were not immediately available for further information.
