
A Bristol Township elementary school student brought several bullets into the classroom earlier this week, officials confirm to LevittownNow.com.
According the school district and police, a student at Mary Devine Elemetnary School, which is currently housed in the Benjamin Franklin School on Mill Creek Road, brought three bullets into the classroom earlier this week. The bullets were displayed to a fellow student who told a teacher.

Once the teacher learned a student had bullets, police were immediately summoned to the school and confiscated the bullets, officials said.
Acting Lt. Ralph Johnson said the child’s father did not own a a gun and believes the child might have found the bullets when clearing out a shed that belonged to his father, the boy’s grandfather.
After consulting the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, no charges will be filed in the case, Johnson told LevittownNow.com.

The district sent home a letter to parents and stated the actions they took were in “direct accordance with our District’s policy regarding school safety.”
