Police have charged a man they say he broke into the apartment he was evicted from recently.
Police officers responded to an apartment on Cedar Avenue in Bristol Township’s Croydon section where Forrest Wilson, 61, was found back inside his former apartment on Friday. Wilson broke back into the apartment and put his own locks on the door, according to the probable cause affidavit.

A number of pieces of drug paraphernalia were located in Wilson’s immediate vicinity at the time of his arrest, including pipes, a grinder “commonly used for marijuana” and a vial containing suspected cocaine, according to police paperwork.
When he was being searched, a vial of suspected marijuana was found, as well as a vial containing two bags of suspected crack cocaine, according to court documents. One of the baggies fell and Wilson tried to stomp it into the water flowing down the street where he was being searched, police said.
Wilson is being charged with a felony of criminal trespassing, in addition to a number of misdemeanors relating to possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Wilson’s bail was set at 10 percent of $40,000.
