A portion of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Middletown will close this week.
PennDOT officials have announced that Bristol-Oxford Valley Road will be closed and detoured Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. between Woodbourne and Trenton roads. The closure is for pavement repair along the stretch of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road.

“During the operation, Bristol Oxford Valley Road through traffic will be detoured over Woodbourne Road and Trenton Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone,” a statement read.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time while traveling through the area.
The repair work will be completed by workers from the local PennDOT yards.
