Falls Township police and Bucks County Detectives allege a mother kicked her 2-year-old daughter to death.

Moore, according to court documents filed early Wednesday, admitted to kicking her 2-year-old daughter, Athena Wolfe, numerous times in the head and torso. A short time later, an ambulance was called to Moore’s home in 1400 block of Sweetbriar Drive in Falls for a child in cardiac arrest and police also responded to the scene.
Police said the little girl was rushed to Aria Health’s Bucks County campus in Falls before being flown to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
At the children’s hospital, doctors said Athena had extensive bruising on her body and also appeared to be malnourished, police said.

District Attorney David Heckler told LevittownNow.com on Monday that the Athena underwent surgery Sunday evening. Despite the best efforts of doctors, Athena died Monday around 7 a.m.
Court records state an autopsy was done Tuesday by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner. The doctor who performed the autopsy ruled Athena’s death a homicide.
