Brittany Dorio, 19, and Mathew Lily, 29, both of Philadelphia, were arraigned before District Judge Robert Wagner Jr. on charges of robbery, burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. The couple’s bail was set at 10 percent of $1 million and they were transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility by constables.
Dorio, Lily and the third suspect who police continued to look for as of late Monday allegedly were involved in the robbery attempt of a house in the 20 block of Goldengate Road in Levittown. The failed robbery ended up with the unnamed suspect fatally shooting the residents’ dog, Cash, at least once.

Court documents show the couple knew the third suspect – identified as Montel ‘Monte Carlo” Johnson – from their apartment complex on Tulpehocken Street in Philadelphia.
As LevittownNow.com reported Monday morning, the male resident awoke shortly before 5 a.m. to find his dog indicating that someone was at the Goldengate home. He went downstairs and saw Dorio at the door and asked what she was doing. The man walked outside after he noticed his white motorcycle was missing. Once outside, Johnson held a gun to resident’s head and tried to get into the man’s home, where his family slept, police said.
In an exclusive interview with LevittownNow.com, the male victim said Johnson told him he needed money and was in a “bad way.”

Cash, a Cane Corso breed, ended up sneaking past the resident and was shot by Johnson, police and the resident said. At least three shots were fired, with at least one striking the dog.
Dorio ended up jumping into a car driven by Lily and Johnson fled on foot, police said.

“A description of the suspect’s car was given out. At approximately 5:27 a.m. the vehicle was spotted at the Exxon Gas Station on New Falls Road. Two of the defendants (Dorio and Lili) were taken into custody,”police said.

Police and Bucks County Sheriff’s Department deputies fanned out through Goldenridge and the surrounding neighborhoods Monday morning and through the evening looking for Johnson. Nearby schools were locked down for a period of time and officers were spotted escorting school buses.

During separate interviews with investigators, the couple said they both were walking away when the three shots were fired, police said.
Dorio initially said the reason they went to the Goldengate Road house was for an “unannounced visit to an old friend” who lived in the house. Eventually, she admitted to going up to house with the unnamed suspect and gained access to a Cadillac SUV to steal items. She stated she was in fear of Johnson and went up to the house to try to locate the key for the motorcycle, according to court papers.

After the shooting, Dorio told police she left in the car with Lily and spoke to Johnson while he was fleeing on foot. He said he discarded his red shoes and was trying to bury to handgun between homes on Geranium Road.
Johnson, according to information provided to police by Dorio, is a Bristol Township native.
Johnson was described as a black male wearing dark pants and a multi-colored fur vest. He also reportedly had orange tips in his hair and stands about 5-foot-5.
