UPDATE: Police Believe Threat Has Little Meritย
According to a letter sent home Tuesday evening to parents, the “rumor of a threat” caused the administration at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Bristol Township to contact police.
The letter from top administration stated a “rumor regarding a potential threat was brought to the attention of school administration” and investigated. The information was also shared with police.

“We have every reason to believe that there is no threat to the safety and security of our campus. Classes are scheduled to continue on a normal schedule tomorrow. Out of an abundance of caution, we have asked that a police patrol car be present in our parking lot during the morning and to make passes through the property at intervals throughout the day,” the letter read.
Little further information on the threat was released in the letter, parents said.
School officials were not available for comment late Tuesday night.
