Firefighters Rescue Man After Car Ends Up In Marsh

Firefighters donned special suits Sunday to rescue a man who drove off an embankment and into a marsh.

The car reportedly ended up off southbound Route 13 after the driver was cut off. The driver was stuck inside the watery marsh just off the highway where is car ended up, Falls Township Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said.

Wearing special water suits and with safety equipment, the firefighters made their way through the water, which was several feet deep in locations, and took the man from the car.

The man appeared to be unhurt in the crash.
