Wawa Robbed By Woman Who Implied She Had Gun

A Falls Township convenience store was robbed Tuesday morning, according to police.

A female suspect walked into the Wawa at the corner of Penn Valley Road and Bristol Pike around 9:45 a.m. and demanded money while implying she had a gun, police said.

The clerk reportedly turned an undisclosed amount of money over to the woman, who then fled out of the store on foot.

The woman was last seen fleeing toward Penn Valley Road, police said.

The woman was described as being 20 to 25 years old and wearing black plants, black boots, a dark-gray hoodie and a burgundy hat.

In a document released to area police agencies and the media, police warn the suspect is considered “armed and dangerous.”
