A Langhorne resident has turned his habit of purchasing tickets for sporting events into a business.

Anthony Finocchairo is the mind behind FinTix, an online service that allows customers to buy tickets for events, concerts and sporting games online for a reasonable price.
FinTix’s website was launched by Finocchairo, a 2011 graduate of Neshaminy High School, in 2014 and has quickly grown in the years since.
The growth, Finocchairo said, is because of FinTix’s success of low ticket prices to sought after events. He added that one large advantage is FinTix is almost always cheaper than StubHub.

“I am a huge Philadelphia Flyers fan and was always paying tons of money to attend playoff games back in 2011. After spending all that money, I realized how big the ticket industry is, so I did some research and found out it’ a $15 billion industry,” he said.
From there, Finocchairo went to work to create his own ticket-selling business.

“I started this business with not a single penny. I took out a bunch of credit cards with very high limits and was maxing them out,” he said. “My parents wanted to literally have my head.”
Now that the business is growing, Finocchairo is looking to the future and planning on a possible retail location down the road.
From all the major sports teams to popular concerts, Finocchairo says his business has something for everyone.
