The Pennsbury School District will be receiving an upgraded website.

School board member Joshua Waldorf briefed the public recently on an effort to refresh the district’s website that has had the same design for several years.

Pennsbury Director of Technology Kevin Dorsey and Coordinator of Communications Ann Langtry are reviewing proposals from vendors to upgrade the website, according to Waldorf .

The upgraded website will adjust to mobile devices, allow for social media interaction and be user-friendly for school officials looking to update the website. The current website links to schools homepages, district documents and various media files.

Waldorf said upgrading the website is a goal for 2016.
