At the hospital,ย Jewell knocked a needle container away from the staff member working in the emergency room before referring to her with racial slurs and spitting on her, police said.
According to court documents, officers told Jewell to stop but he continued his disorderly behavior. Jewell punched a security worker in the head and bit another in the shin.
The behavior was affirmed by later viewing of security footage, police said.
