Middletown Township is getting ready to prepare a bid announcement for it’s 2016 road improvement project.
The project, which according toย Building and Zoning Director Patrick Duffy could cost the township around $1.6 million, will repave 37 roads in the township, including all of the Parkland section and four additional roads in Langhorne Borough. Duffy noted the township will be fully reimbursed for the roads it paves in Langhorne.

According to Duffy, the repaving of all streets in Parkland will include fixing some storm drainage issues that the area is known to have suffered from.
The township, which authorized the plans for the project on Monday night, is expected to start getting bids for the project soon and hopes to award the bid to a contractor in either late April or early May.
