Library Looks For Memorabilia & Fond Memories

The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library in Bristol Borough is looking for people with memories of the facilityย for the upcoming 50th anniversary celebration.

Tracy DeJong and other Grundy staff and volunteers will be working to compile photographs and memorabilia from the library’s 50 years. Collections of photography and memorabilia will take place from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. on April 2 and May 7. Both days are Saturdays.

People without tangible materials, but have distinct memories of the library are encouraged to stop by and share their thoughts as well.

Materials will become part of the library’s special exhibit: “50 Years of Service: Celebrating the History of the Grundy Library,” which opens this Fall at the library on Radcliffe Street.

Materials can either be donated or scanned as to become digital entries in the library’s records.
