Six vehicles were involved in a wreck Friday morning near the Burlington-Bristol Bridge.
Bristol Township police said the crash happened at the base of the bridge and that several people were injured in that wreck that happened around 9 a.m. The extent of the injuries was unknown as of 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters had to extricate one person from the six-vehicle crash, Lt. Ralph Johnson said.
Three of the six vehicles were damaged so badly they were towed from the scene
The Burlington County Bridge Commission Police Department said the bridge was closed for about 45 minutes before all lanes were reopened.
