According to prosecutors, Millardย was traveling westbound on East Street Road in Lower Southampton on March 19, 2015 when her vehicle veered to the left, crossed over both westbound lanes of traffic and crossed the raised concrete road divider, entering the eastbound, opposite and oncoming lanes of traffic, before it struck aย Honda Accord head-on. When a nearby Toyota Sequoia attempted to avoid the collision, the Honda Accord rotated clockwise and struck the Sequoia, before landing in an embankment along with Millardโs vehicle.
Sharon Vince, 64, and Charles Rishel, 79,ย were killed in the crash. The two Falls residents were friends.
Court papers state Millard was drunk and had signs of several medications, including one to treat depression.

As the Rishel children heard that Millard could get 30 years in prison, they told Shore they agreed with the sentence of five to 10 years. Charlie Rishel said his parents would have had compassion due to the fact Millard has young children.
“They took our families upbringing and our feelings into consideration when asking us what we would like to see happen.”
