A Bristol Township man is under arrest after he allegedly fought with officers responding to his home forย a domestic disturbance call.

According to police documents, officers responded to Zorger’s home for a domestic disturbance call Monday evening on Copper Beach Lane in Bristol Township’s Levittown section where the incident allegedly happened.ย
Zorger pushed a table into the victim and then chased her out of the house with a large kitchen knife, the probable cause affidavit said. He then reportedly barricaded himself in the house by “screwing the door shut.”
During the brief standoff, Zorger threatened officers with a knife and hurled a cordless drill through a window on the door, sending glass in the officers’ direction, court papers said.

Two taser blasts were discharged before Zorger could be restrained, although, according to court papers, he continued to wrestle with officers.
Zorger pleaded guilty in 2014 to an incident in Bristol Township that ended up with a woman being assaulted after the 51 year old came home intoxicated.

Zorger is being held at Bucks County Jail on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
