Many of us are still digging out from Winter Storm Jonas, an historic blizzard that pummeled some parts of our region with more than two feet of snow! Big Q BBQ’s Drew Abruzzese is dangling a tasty incentive to get area barbecue lovers out of their homes and knoshing on some tasty barbeque. For the second week in a row, Abruzzese is giving away “Q-Tips” at his Big Q BBQ, located at 1140 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road (at the corner of Woodbourne Road) in Levittown, PA. “We had a giveaway last weekend to introduce this new menu item, but because of the blizzard many were not able to make it to the restaurant, and we were forced to close on Saturday,” explained Abruzzese. “So, we decided to try again this Friday at noon, AND if you’re still trapped on your street and can’t get here on Friday, we’re doing it again Saturday at lunchtime.”

“Q-tips” are finger-licking, house-smoked, bone-in pork rib tips. This weekend’s giveaway is a lunchbox which includes: 4 rib-tips; 2 drumsticks (hand breaded in an herb spice mixture); and a biscuit, normally a $5.00 value. “Think of this as a reward for enduring the snowstorm!” quipped Abruzzese. The giveaway starts at noon on both Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30 and will last until Big Q BBQ runs out of lunchboxes.
