With a winter storm now predicted to bring between 10 and 16 inches of snow to the region, local municipalities are declaring snow emergencies ahead of the first flakes.

Bristol Borough
No declaration has been made.
Bristol Township

A snow emergency will go into effect Friday evening and last until early Monday morning. The township warned residents to move their cars off the streets and to clear basketball nets from the side of the roadways so plows can clear the full street.
Falls Township

Fire Marshalย Richย Dippolito said a snow emergency would begin at 9 p.m. Friday and expire at 9 p.m. Sunday. All residents are required to move vehicles, boats and trailers from the street and into driveways. Basketball nets that are near or hang over the street are also to be moved. Anyone with questions is asked to call 215-949-9000 ext. 201.
Langhorne Borough
Mayor Joe Taylor declared a snow emergency in the borough. Hereโs what borough officials said:
Please note that this will be in effect from 1/22/16 Friday evening until 1/24/16 Sunday midnight. Please remove parked cars from the streets during the state of emergency If the roadways are clear Sunday and no snow is falling you may park on the streets.

Langhorne Manor Borough

A snow emergency for the weekend is expected to be issued Friday afternoon, authoritieis said.

Middletown Township
A snow emergency will go into effect Friday afternoon and last through the weekend. Police are telling resident to move their vehicles off the street once the snow begins. Vehicles remaining on township streets once the snow starts will be ticketed.

From the township ordinance:
No person shall park, store or stand any motor vehicle on any street within the Township during the period of time commencing one hour after snow begins to fall within the Township and ending 12 hours after snow ceases to fall within the Township.
Tullytown Borough
The borough is under a snow emergency declaration from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Sunday.ย All vehicles must be removed from public streets.
