Repairs have been made to the heating systems at two of Bristol Township’s schools.
On Tuesday night, district officials told LevittownNow.com that all schools would be open on time Wednesday and that repairs had been completed at Harry S. Truman High School and John Finch Elementary School.

The issue with the heat circulator at the high school left parts of the building freezing cold Tuesday morning, forcing the district to dismiss students mid-morning. Superintendent Dr. Melanie Gerhens said a separate unrelated issue at Fitch was less serious but did cause temperatures in parts of the aging school to drop.
The heating issues came as temperatures topped out around freezing.
