On Friday, a Middletown police officer dropped off a teddy bear for the toddlerย who was injured the previousย evening in an accident on theย escalator at the Oxford Valley Mall.

The little girl, who was about two years old and from Warminster, only suffered a flesh wound and lost part of a fingernail Thursday evening when her finger got tangled in the mallย escalator, police said. At first, authorities were worried the finger was badly damaged or amputated.
