Police reported they were dispatched to the Burger King on Beaver Street on December 3 shortly before 8:30 a.m. for reports of a burglary that had occurred the month prior.

Staff of the restaurant reported that the man that had burglarized the store on November 21 and November 22 was currently hiding out in the bathroom, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Police said they made their way to the bathroom but discovered it was locked. They next heard the man shout out that he would be out in a minute. Court documents note that Johnson exited the bathroom a few minutes later unarmed and was taken into custody.

Police spoke with the manager of the fast food restaurant after the arrest. The manager informed them that Johnson is an ex-employee of the location and was seen on surveillance video committing the burglaries in late November.

Johnson was later transferred to the Bensalem Township Police Department for further processing. He awaits a preliminary hearing scheduled for January 13.
